The composition is used to fight bacterial infections of the lungs, throat, tonsils, skin, ear, respiratory problems, and urine problems. Cefpodoxime Proxetil comes under the category of antibiotic that helps in getting rid of bacteria. Potassium Clavulanate is a beta-lactamase inhibitor beneficial to decrease resistance and increase the activity of Cefpodoxime Proxetil against bacteria.

GATEXIM- 100 Syp is used to treat bacterial infections in many different parts of the body. It belongs to the class of medicines known as cephalosporin antibiotics. It works by killing bacteria or preventing their growth. However, this medicine will not work for colds, flu, or other virus infections.
